Silvertide - Show & Tel

Another really great album. Classic hard rock that sounds heavily influenced by the likes of Aerosmith, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Led Zep.

Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves - Sun Via

Saddened that my previous play Silverside (which was really good) only released one album & a couple of other things, I searched to find what the lead guitarist and songwriter Nick Perri had done since & found this.

Sun Via is certainly varied with a range of different moods from harder rock to more mellow bluesier or funkier stuff & something that consistently stands out is his electric and acoustic guitar playing (a few electronic bits in the first seconds of some of the mid-album tracks seem unnecessary to me but don’t spoil an overall interesting & enjoyable album)

Jay Hooks Band - Tequila & Bullets (Blues Rock)

Released in September, I've just played this twice back to back, I'm sure not everyone likes blues-rock but I do & this is another excellent album. It starts very fast, then slows a bit & most of the album has a strong ZZ Top feel.

One of the greatest male vocalists you probably have never heard of. Wonderful album. One of my all time favourites.
