What are you listening to?

I’m starting my morning off with an album that was recommended by @MrA, and it features an artist previously unknown to me, Meer.

Gazpacho Magic 8-Ball (progressive rock)

…after reading a review that says “Recommended for fans of: Anathema, The Pineapple Thief, Airbag, all Steven Wilson projects”

Vola - Applause Of A Distant Crowd (progressive metal/rock)

I’ve listened to all four of their albums, I really like this (& Witness even more so)

Steven Wilson - The Overview

More proggy, coherent and melodic than some of his recent albums (& everything he touches is going to be very good, great or excellent).

I finally took the time to integrate my dual Lyngdorf BW-2 subwoofers with my Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2 speakers connected to my WiiM Amp Ultra (for now) through RoomFit.

The results are stunning, and I think Allison Moyet and Vince Clarke would agree if I could persuade them to come over.

I’ve been a Yaz and Erasure fan for a very long time. I couldn’t find this album on AM, but I did find the Yazoo Reconnected live album. Allison might be better live than in the studio - just an amazing voice.

And so funny that the record company decided to use a different band name in the US than in Europe ... :D
