What are you listening to?

Next retrospective look on my musical awakening, linked to my first own CD player. I mentioned it. 1986 was a good year. Eventually my parents put me off all this hard rock, psychedelic and prog things. Too much was apparently too much 😉.

This EP is the first release of this new band from three former members of Amon Amarth.
It sounds fantastic.

I saw them on that tour at the Empire Pool, I think that was '76. Some people consider it sacrilege compared to the Blackmore etc years but I rate Stormbringer & Come Taste The Band very highly, different but still good. Coverdale's vocals beat Gillan every time for me - soulful & emotional on Solder Of Fortune for instance.
