What newly released music in 2025 can you recommend?

Currently listening to the excellent Theo Gilmore’s eponymous 2023 album on Tidal. I only recently ‘discovered’ this artist and love what I’ve heard of her work so far.

Thea Gilmore, I suspect you mean. Been listening to her for 20 years now. A great talent - wonderful voice and lyrics written with a razor blade. Avalance (2003) was the album that hooked me on her, but tons of other great work, too.

Another amazing voice I've recently stumbled across is Presley Haile. She's been around a couple of years but her 2025 album is "Off To Find A Sunny Day". Check out the " Someday Soon" track.

A great old Ian Tyson tune. Nice rendition, but Judy Collins still owns the definitive version.
