A streaming DAC & headphone amp would be a game changer - join with SMSL for example
With 10 bands parametric EQ

No XLR outputs but maybe a step in the right direction?…. https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-amp.1322/The Wiim Pro Plus looks great, but please make a 2.1 version with a high-pass filters and XLR outputs on the front channels, and an RCA out for the subwoofer. I want to use it with a sub and a balanced Hypex amp.
Puhleeeeze???
The WiiM amp looks good for some uses, but I want an external high-power amp.No XLR outputs but maybe a step in the right direction?…. https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-amp.1322/
Desktop product. More power. This is smartphone + mobile dac (Go Link for example)
DI.FM and it's sister stations Radio Tunes, Rock Radio, Jazz Radio and Classical Radio. Also Sirius XM and of course Apple music and YouTube music. Your Pandora support is awesome and the app is convenient to use, just add more streaming services to your app and add the ability to have more favorites or divide the favorites up between each streaming service so you can have favorites within each application. What products would you like to see based on what you've experienced so far?
As others have pointed out... using a cheap remote mic for measurement is problematic. Even phones can be tricky - there's a reason Sonos and HouseCurve only work on iOS - microphone calibration is hard.Absolutely, you've got a point. Using the voice remote's mic could be more effective for capturing room characteristics, especially since it can be moved around the room.
My Dayton imm6 calibrated mic which is in the recommended list of HouseCurve app is 22euros. Imagine the cost with economies of scale …As others have pointed out... using a cheap remote mic for measurement is problematic. How about supporting a USB Mic like the MiniDSP UMIK-1 when connected to a smartphone? Seems like a straightforward solution that would generate quality input?
Like this? https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-ultra.1731/I have a Wiim Mini. I'm really happy with it. The app is great, but the internal DAC is a bit underwhelming.
I would love to see something with a far superior DAC, a screen, USB connectivity and possibly a headphone amp. Something that can challenge the lower/mid streamers like C/A CXN V2.
If you can pull it off for £350-£500, it will be unbeatable.
You don’t really need the bandwidth of eArc for stereo audio thoughWould like to see HDMI earc implemented.
That would indeed be MajikIf you can build an LP12 for the price of a Pro-Ject E1 it will unbeatable
Well, you’ve no doubt noticed how Linn manage to work the letter “k” into every product they sell…A good one, may I adept it once? Or should I (C) it?
