What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

I know it's a music streamer and works well for that. Many of us want to use with TV. center channel and DTS would be nice. HDMI out would be excellent. I guess most would just buy an AVR to do that, I don't have room.

Wiim already produce :-

9 * Streamers = Mini, Pro, Pro Plus, Ultra, Amp, Amp Pro, and somewhat differently the Wake-up-Light, and the C10 Mkii, and the A10 Mk ii
4 * Amplifiers = Amp, Amp Pro, Vibelink, and the C10 Mkii
How is the C10Mkii an amplifier? Surely it's a speaker?

yes it is a speaker;

and also, so much more :-
It also contains a 80w amplifier, has RCA line in (left and right channels), a 10 band graphic equaliser (etc.), supports several streaming protocols and internet radio, and even has a sub-woofer out.

Consequently, for some people's audio needs, and I emphasise "some people", the C10 unit can perform as both a speaker and an amplifier.

When WiiM decide to make a CD player/CD transport (or not) they surely won't base that on how many potential customers don't want one, but certainly on how many do.

It's a big world. :)
Sorry. I don't understand that remark.

Of course WiiM will look at how many they could sell, so making it better than the already existing CD transports and integrating it into the LinkPlay family and put some intelligens into it (meta data lookup, ripping), would be the thing that made it stand out from all the others.

That's certainly one way to look at it. Still, people come here asking for CD players without considering smart functions and software integration.

I won't judge any side. WiiM appears very much software driven, but Linkplay still provide turnkey software and hardware solutions to the industry. I'm sure they will continue to adjust WiiM's direction in what they consider the best way. Personally, I don't believe in a "pure" CD transport, but I don't pretend to know. There certainly is some demand.

By that premise, the A10 is an amplifier too viz. “Integrated class D active amplification

You’d be better having a third row for speakers for the A10 and C10. For further clarity, the speakers aren’t strictly produced by WiiM but by Audio Pro - WiiM provide the “WiiM edition” firmware.

Here’s an idea: a WiiM NAS/media server. Obviously should support Roon, DLNA, and/or Plex, as well as other protocols I didn’t list. This would be a unique product I think, with good tie-in to their streamers. Should have expandable storage (either some sort of flash/drive bay and/or USB/Thunderbolt connections).

Key thing is making it EASY to use, which is the real magic with any WiiM product.

And it might even make for a good storage point for CD rips if they make a WiiM CD transport/ripper.

Yeah it's missing a server. Single or ideally dual bay. Built in audio server but also allows to install own server..IE mimm, lms etc.

Cd driver for ripping/encoding, control over IP

Yes, great idea. A CD player/drive with a built-in hard drive (and ports to add more), which can be accessed by WiiMs all over the house, possibly even remotely. That way, all those CD rips you have because they're not on streaming, you can take with you around the world. An add-on to the WiiM app (or separate app) would be necessary for playback, obviously. The drive accessible from your PC so you can rename files, tags, etc.

For the record, I'd buy one, unless it were ludicrously priced.

I would like the vibelink as a plain power amp .

- without volume control, with a gain switch on the back to choose 26 dB or 15 dB , without a dac, with two Wima 4,7 uF polyester capacitors blocking DC at the rca L and R input AND 4 Wima 4,7 uF polyester capacitors blocking DC right before the tpa3255 chip.

The sound would this way probably be slightly better than the original vibelink and it would be a more ” clean ”power amp look of the amplifier without a volume control.

I used Wima caps for my tpa 3255 building and those made the sound cleaner than using the usual electrolytic capacitors

Burnside: You are quite correct, I should have also included the A10 on the amplifier line as well as on the streamer line; and yes, a third line for " loudspeakers+ " would have even better conveyed my observation that Wiim already have many streaming and amplification products.

Wiim already have a range of products that support streaming and / or amplification, including :-

9 * Streamers = Mini, Pro, Pro Plus, Ultra, Amp, Amp Pro, and somewhat differently the Wake-up-Light, and the C10 Mkii, and the A10 Mk ii
5 * Amplifiers = Amp, Amp Pro, Vibelink, the C10 Mkii, and the A10 MKii
2 * Speakers = Wiim Edition variants of the Audio Pro A10 MKii, and the C10 MKii (both include streaming and amplification)

Many people have made good suggestions: My vote is for a CD player (of whatever sort).

Wiim are clearly a very progressive company who are quick to listen and bring new features and also new products to their customers.
Not all other companies are so quick or comprehensive, regardless of price.

I speculate here = If Wiim were indeed to bring a fairly basic CD product to market, say for example something along the lines of the SMSL PL100, then how many of us would be surprised if, after some time, they would launch a second CD product (a "CD Pro" ?) with more enhanced features and different components (after listening to customer feedback and suggestions).

I deliberately do not speculate on what such a device could feature, except it would be nice if it aesthetically looked similar to existing products.

I'd buy one, possibly more than one, and I suspect many others would as well.

A digital dsp crossover , 3-way with a stereo analog rca input , a spdif input and six rca outputs . I would buy one if the price would be the same as the mini dsp:s better units , I.e about 600 dollars .

A multichannel power amp with six channels , six rca inputs, no dac or dsp, price 800 dollars.

A WiiM interface with Calibrated Mic to attach to WiiM products to perform room response.

In a future version of WiiM Ultra the mic input could be on WiiM itself and just attach microphone.
