We still have a mirror over the fireplaceMines over the fireplace![]()
Subwoofer is only crossing in at 40Hz. The MoFis play down to an F3 of like 32Hz in-room for me if left to their own devices and ports left unplugged. I actually plugged both ports on the two speakers so they can better match the group delay of the sealed subwoofer.I think @EddNog must be happy with the room correction. That is left and right so there will be a 3dB increase at low frequencies with both channels playing.

Don’t have any, 65 inch oled plus lazy boyHow's the neckache doing?
WiiM Ultra -> Marantz M1 (DIRAC Live & bass management -> MoFi SourcePoint 8 & Rythmik L12 (40Hz crossover).
Plays flat down to 10Hz in-room. DIRAC correcting 12.5-250Hz.

EDIT: The subwoofer is crossed in at 40Hz with a 24dB/Octave Linkwitz-Riley filter. I don’t miss any stereo imaging at all, but with this kind of extension, I hear all of the music, not just most of it. The speakers will play down to an F3 of 32Hz in-room for me here in the family room (likely due to rear wall reinforcement) with ports left open, but I have fully sealed all ports so they can better match the group delay on my sealed subwoofer.

They’re a tremendous upgrade from the LS50 Metas I had before. Similar ability to image, but just massive increase in dynamic range and headroom, as well as much more bottom-end extension (no way anybody could get away with crossing a subwoofer in at only 40Hz like I do with these beasts). The only thing the LS50 Metas might have had was more air, but that could just be due to the fact it was lacking the mid and low-end grunt compared to these, which I find more balanced overall.How do you like the Powerpoints?
Yes, this kind of anti-marketing is pretty popular with some Internet citizens. Especially those who don't understand the technological side of speaker development.IMHO, the KEF Metas are more of an exercise in marketing than in design... overpriced fine speakers but overly marketed and a cse of form over function.
Man cave you mean?Bonus Room setup: Wiim Ultra, NAD CD transport, Emotiva PT1 Preamp, Schitt Lokius EQ, dual Topping B200 monoblocks, vintage AR 90 speakers, Kenwood subwoofer.
No way. That's a perfect example of what EQ should not be abused for, at least not actively. Such resonances can be highly non-linear with power.The PEQ should also correct driver basket resonances
