Why does my ultra glitch?

My USB out was working PERFECTLY for the first two days that I had it. Now? It skips/silences like a bad record. Things keep moving, but there are split second "dead spots." I've replaced USB cords, checked that every thing is connected correctly, etc. Nope. Meanwhile the RCA outs are fine. But I wanted this to go from the Ultra into my aging KEF LS 50 wireless (version 1) speakers. *SIGH!*

And to be clear, when I was using my Roon Core directly into the KEFs via USB, there were NO problems. I'm truly bummed.

It might be useful to include these details in your own thread, since you don't seem to be using a Pontus II (as per the thread title).

Post moved, so all the information is in one place now. (y)

Have you tried what I suggested earlier?
