WiiM Amp no longer streams from ROON

My WiiM amp has become so unstable that I cannot stream any longer to it. Wifi says all is good but just spins and nothing. Also does not matter which stream protocol (RAAT, AirPlay, Cast). This all seems to have started for me about two firmware updates ago. I have not seen anyone else post anything similar. All my other endpoints are find and how have a small RasPi with a dac hat plugged into it and it is flawless.

Did you change anything on your network settings so that the network got split into subnetworks?

Have you tried power cycling your router and when it's back up and running, the WiiM Amp too?

If that doesn't resolve your issue, then raise a ticket direct to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your device logs for clues.

No, in fact I moved so I am only using one EERO as it will cover all areas. Nothing changed in the topology and I have verified all IP's are on the same sub nets. I tried both a manual IP as well as DHCP.

Yup. It will come up for a while and then drop out and then disappear from Roon. The airplay and chromecast versions always still show up but won't work either. I didn't think to ask WiiM to look into it. I figured I was out of warranty as I have had it for a couple of years now.

Does it show correctly in the WiiM Home App?

If it does, I would still think you have a split network (WiFi and cabled?)

You may be able to communicate in on direction but not the other, so Roon times out.

It may well be out of hardware warranty but WiiM regularly provide firmware updates for all their devices to fix bugs and add features.

Have you tried turning off Wifi roaming in the WiiM Amp network settings in the WiiM Home app? Toggling off IPV6 and Preferred DNS server can also help network related issues

It shows but won't play. I don't have a cable drop in this room. It won't play tidal direct either. Shows artwork etc. but just spins. As I said, I manually set ip address as well within the range given by the router and that makes no difference.

Yup. Trust me. I tried everything within the app. I work from home and music keeps me sane through the day. This is the only endpoint with an issue. My Eversolo DMP A-6 in my main system has never had a drop and my other Ropieee based endpoints work flawlessly as well.
