Have 3 echo dots and the Wiim Amp in one Alexa group.
When starting playing music with an Alexa command everything is playing in sync without problems.
After a while the Wiim Amp runs out of sync, Echo devices together are staying syncronized.
The time delay between the Echos and the Wiim amp Pro increases by time, after aprox. 30 minutes of playing, the problem is noticeable, and 30 minites later not acceptable anymore. It helps to finish playing and starting again.

The Echos and Wiim Amp Pro is in the same Wifi network.
Did a test: When using an Echo instead of the WiimAmp Pro at the same place, the problem is not there.

What can I do? Is there a problem with the Wiim Amp Pro or what do I do wrong?

Thank you

When the problem occurs, please raise a ticket via the more/feedback section in the WiiM Home app so their engineers can inspect your device logs for evidence of the issue.

I remember having the same problem before with my WiiM amp. It was cured some time ago. (I'm sure tried several solutions, but don't remember the details..)

I am testing again now, I have created an Alexa group with 3 echodots and a WiiM amp pro, and have over 1 hour of playback on Amazon Music Unlimited, and I don't see any syncing issues.

After submitting the ticket, please try the following.

  1. Delete the relevant Alexa group.
  2. Unplug all echo dots and WiiM amp pro power cables and reboot.
  3. Create a new Alexa multi-room music group.
