WiiM Amp Pro and Echo devices runs out of sync after a while

Have 3 echo dots and the Wiim Amp in one Alexa group.
When starting playing music with an Alexa command everything is playing in sync without problems.
After a while the Wiim Amp runs out of sync, Echo devices together are staying syncronized.
The time delay between the Echos and the Wiim amp Pro increases by time, after aprox. 30 minutes of playing, the problem is noticeable, and 30 minites later not acceptable anymore. It helps to finish playing and starting again.

The Echos and Wiim Amp Pro is in the same Wifi network.
Did a test: When using an Echo instead of the WiimAmp Pro at the same place, the problem is not there.

What can I do? Is there a problem with the Wiim Amp Pro or what do I do wrong?

Thank you

When the problem occurs, please raise a ticket via the more/feedback section in the WiiM Home app so their engineers can inspect your device logs for evidence of the issue.

I remember having the same problem before with my WiiM amp. It was cured some time ago. (I'm sure tried several solutions, but don't remember the details..)

I am testing again now, I have created an Alexa group with 3 echodots and a WiiM amp pro, and have over 1 hour of playback on Amazon Music Unlimited, and I don't see any syncing issues.

After submitting the ticket, please try the following.

  1. Delete the relevant Alexa group.
  2. Unplug all echo dots and WiiM amp pro power cables and reboot.
  3. Create a new Alexa multi-room music group.

I find myself with the same situation. Did you find a resolution? My setup has the Echo as the source audio to a Fosi amp for one pair of speakers and the WiiM Amp as the source for a second pair of speakers outside. I'm thinking about connecting all 4 speakers to the WiiM Amp but they are two different sets and I afraid the volume could be too far off.

Unfortunately still same situation and no solution.
Tried restarting everything (Router, Accespoints, Echos, WiimAmp), deleted the group and generated a new one. Same.
What I did is, I added another original Echo in exactly this Multiroom group and put it directly close to the WiimAmp Pro, of course , exactly same config as the WiimAmp Pro and of course same net. And here the same: the echo keeps in sync with the others and the Wiim runs out of sync... The one and only device is the WiimAmp Pro which runs out of sync. So I assume that this is a buffer problem of the WiimAmp. I opened a ticket a long time ago, unfortunately didn't get any response from Wiim. I bought the WiimAmp Pro for Amazon Multiroom to use my existing B&W speakers with the ohter Echos in different rooms like kitchen, but this is not working and so it's useless for me.

It might be worthwhile for both of you to (again) raise a ticket when this issue occurs so WiiM can inspect both your device logs to see if they can see similarities that might help identify the issue and deliver a fix.

If I had to guess the issue could be the Echo devices and the way they communicate in MRM. Just a guess that might add some delay.
I think my WiiM Amp is ahead of the Echo. I used to have the Amp in adjacent room to a pair of Echo speakers and don't recall a significant delay.

Guess I'll hook all 4 speakers to the Amp and hope for the best volume wise.

Edit to add I suppose we could experiment and split the 3.5mm from the Echo and use that as the input to both a Fosi Amp as well as input to the WiiM Amp. I has two Fosi's and it worked great until an update on the Echo changed the way the voice remote worked.
Now I'm planning on using WiiM remote to control tracks etc. Works ok if I initiate playback via an Echo device that is part of the MRM group. Alexa can hear the WiiM Amp that way. If I start playback via voice remote to just the WiiM Amp in the group it seems that the rest of the group won't play MRM. Not a big deal, just have to remember that WiiM Amp doesn't seem to be able to initiate MRM playback.

The playback starts perfectly in sync all the time, but looses sync after 30 minutes or so..

I want to use the Wiim Amp directly with the MRM feature nativly, without using the Echo, connected by a 3.5mm cable to the Aux input. I am sure this would work because the Echo stays always in sync with the others also after hours, except the Wiim (of course with the Echo build-in speaker)

I actually raised a ticket again and see what happens

Are all Echo speakers connected to 5GHz Wi-Fi?

Also, does the same issue occur with a group of one Echo and one WiiM amp?

I split the output from an Echo to a Fosi Amp and to the WiiM Amp using RCA inputs.
The WiiM is noticeably delayed. Direct connect split from same source.
I thought the WiiM was early from previous listening over Wi-Fi but I must have been incorrect.

My fix is I connected all 4 speakers to the WiiM Amp. Sounds very good outdoors even though the two pairs of speakers are dissimilar.
