CEC problems on inputs other than TV

In the last month or so, my Wiim Amp Pro will not adjust volume with the TV remote on the WiFi input when switching from TV until after I turn TV off and on. I have a TCL Roku TV. I have owned this amp for 4 months and initially it did not have this problem. I swapped HDMI cables and swapped the amp with my bluesound powernode and the CEC works properly with this configuration. I reset the Wiim Amp Pro and my TV to factory defaults and it did not fix the problem. I am unsure if this happened after a firmware update. Is any one else having this problem?

The current WiiM Amp Pro firmware (version 5.2.714763) did introduce "Smarter HDMI ARC". The same feature had been introduced to the WiiM Amp and the WiiM Ultra, but was not well received. The other two devices did receive another firmware update in the meantime to fix the behaviour of "Smarter HDMI ARC".

It is possible (but there's no guarantee) that the behaviour you see right now (and don't like) will be fixed with the upcoming WiiM Amp Pro firmware. No announcement yet, so we might still have to wait a couple of days.
