Wiim Amp Pro and SMSL PL100 CD Player

Bought the PL100 to go with my Wiim Amp Pro. Found this perfect fitting shelf too which nicely hides all the cables.

Reminds me of one of my first “serious” amplifiers way back in 1982 - the Cambridge A&R A60. Always thought it was a good looking, as well as a good sounding amp.

Oogh, that WAS one hell of a sexy amp!
I didn‘t know CA has been in buisness for so long. I always thought that they had emerged some time in 2000s.

A&R Cambridge were a fore-runner of Arcam. I don’t think there’s a link with Cambridge Audio who do the DACMagic other than both being located in Cambridge, UK.

Nice! Hope there`s no heat issues with this shelf cover. I recently ordered an SMSL PL 150 (which is taking forever to arrive) to pair with my WiiM Amp so something like this would come in handy for me as well.

It seems fine. It's open at the back as well and there is at least a small air gap above the amp.
