Wiim Amp Ultra with Rel Quake subwoofer

I am considering to buy a Wiim Amp Ultra, to be connected to a Smart TV via Hdmi, 2 Monitor Audio Silver RS6 and a Rel Quake subwoofer (part of an old 5.1 Home Theater System). I have several doubts concerning the utilization of the subwoofer:
1. According to Rel, we should connect the right and left positive terminals of the amp to the sub High Level Entry - I am not sure if it is possible this type of connection since the terminals of the amp are occupied by the speaker terminals.
2. As an option we can also connect the sub output of the amp, with a RCA cable, to the LFE of the sub, turning the volume of the LFE to the minimum.

I believe that with this type of connection we are not using de sub management capacities of the Wiim.

I also do not know if we should specify in the sub the crossover frequency, or if one should use the Wiim's software to specify the LPF and HPF values.

Don't do that. Don't listen to REL. This is bad advice anyway.

This way you can actually take advantage of the WiiM sub management. I just don't see no reason to turn the LFE volume to minimum. The volume should be set to roughly 12 o'clock or slightly less. You will then increase or decrease the sub level in the WiiM Home app until it matches the speaker's level.

Normally, LFE means that no LP filter is applied by the sub since the AVR (or in this case the WiiM Amp Ultra) takes care of that. If this particular sub still has a low pass filter for the LFE, set it to maximum or out or disabled or however it may be called. Let the WiiM device do all the low pass filtering for the sub and the matching high pass filtering for the mains.
