Hi, can the amp be used as a streamer and be connected to an other amp instead of using its own amplifier,,๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

No, not directly.

But its USB port can be be used as a digital output to a streamer DAC with USB input and that could feed another amplifier.

No probs, just got a pair of dali Oberon 5,s, amp is good with them but could be a better. I like the wiim though. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ ,, thanks
Give them some time to break in, first. Next, see what WiiM room correction brings to the mix for you. Lots of things to play with before considering an external DAC and power amp.

Yes indeed, I have the Oberon 5,s, now 3 weeks, I've decided to upgrade to an Arcam A 5, with the wiim pro plus steamer,
Il make a few tweaks and adjustments after setup, fun and games,, ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜„

Hi Harkpabst. I have a Yamaha that only has optical and coaxial digital inputs. Could I use one of those USB A to toslink adapter cables and connect the USB output to the optical input on the amplifier? What is the resolution of the USB output and will such a cable preserve it? Apparently the optical cable can carry 24 bit 192 kHz but since it is an adapter cable I guess it depends on the manufacturer. Thanks in advance.
