Hello everyone,
I am currently thinking about a Wiim-based setup for my new flat.
I would like to install a sound system in three rooms: my 36m² living room, my 21m² dining room and my 16m² kitchen.
The idea is to listen to the same music in all three rooms at the same time.
My SmartTV is also in my living room, and I would like to broadcast the sound from my TV via the new audio system.
Finally, I should mention that I listen to music almost exclusively on Apple devices.
Can you recommend a configuration?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
Which music streaming service do you primarily use?

Please note that WiiM does not support Apple Music, and only certain WiiM devices are compatible with AirPlay.

AirPlay-compatible devices
- WiiM Mini
- WiiM Pro
- WiiM Pro plus
- WiiM Amp

Non-Airplay devices
- WiiM Ultra
- WiiM Amp pro
- WiiM Amp Ultra

With the Amp series featuring a built-in power amplifier, simply connect passive speakers and you're all set.

Place one WiiM device of your choice in each of your living room, kitchen, and dining area to enjoy simultaneous playback with multi-room music.

Also, you can place two WiiM Sound speakers in your living room for stereo playback, with one each in the dining area and kitchen.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I don't use any streaming service ... (my mp3 files are in my iPhone/iPad).
I forgot to mention that I also have 2 Apple HomePods. Could they be easily integrated into the setup ?

If those files are visible in the iOS Music app and aren’t cloud based then the WiiM app should be able to see them under the My Music section in the WiiM app and play them ok to any WiiM device.

The WiiM app can’t play to HomePods but you could AirPlay to them and any AirPlay-compatible WiiM device from the first list above.

You could extend that by grouping any WiiM devices in the WiiM app as long as the “group leader” supported AirPlay, and then AirPlay to that group leader and the HomePods from your phone.
