Under Home Music Share, I use bookmarks pointing to specific file folders holding my music collection (served by MinimServer)

I have 2 sibling folders A1 and A2, and a sub-folder within A1, called B1

After I make file changes, I find that in the WHA A1 and B1 always retain their correct file locations, but A2 ends up pointing to some other file location, e.g. a specific album rather than the parent folder.

Anyone know why this occurs, or more specifically why it doesn't occur with A1 and B1? I'm hoping there's something I've done correctly with A1 and B1 that I could apply to A2.

I have the WiiM Pro, but I imagine the same occurs with all devices.

I guess this is very similar to the issue that occurs when presetting playlists as eloquently explained in this comment - basically bookmarks aren’t aware of any changes made when you re-index Minimserver

@Burnside I've seen posts here before mentioning that the 'pointer' for shortcuts etc. can change when there are changes to the server indexing. But the fact that the shortcut to one of my folders, and its child, are never affected makes me think there's maybe something about the positioning of these folders on the server that means re-indexing doesn't disturb them.

I'll have a read through that thread, see if I can glean anything.

The last bit about playlists being ordered alphabetically when they’re assigned the pointers might be an avenue to explore and might explain what you’re seeing.

Have you tried creating A0?
