I am looking for a multi-room audio setup using some kind of DLNA source and am looking at a WiiM Pro Plus with wired ethernet connection which would sync wirelessly with 2-3 WiiM Minis.
Would this work with either bluetooth or AirPlay (no wifi)?
I assume initial configuration of the WiiMs can be done via bluetooth from an iPhone or iPad?

No. Only a TCP network connection will work. That can be over WiFi or cabled Ethernet. All connected to same logical IP network.

That's a shame, thanks for the quick response!
I do have a couple of wifi networks (basically IoT and guest) but they are logically separated from my wired vlans for security reasons so that's a non-starter.
I guess I could go down the route of multiple Pro Pluses, all wired...

You will still need a phone or tablet for setup and control, and that is usually via WiFi.
