WiiM Pro Plus Standby?

Thinking about getting a Pro Plus, if I program say preset 1 to a radio station on InTune, press the button on the remote and it'll play but is there then a way to stop it with the remote / switch it off?
Just want something simple The Mrs can switch the radio on and off with, the amp it's plugged into would just be permanently left on but but need to be able to easily silence it.

The remote does have a power button as well as play/pause

And it is a Bluetooth remote so the Mrs does not have to aim it directly at the Pro Plus for the buttons to work!
