Interesting to see that the headphone socket pictured on the rear of the early preview images at the top of this topic doesn’t appear on the (presumably production) models featured in the reviews.

I did comment - on the old forum - that it would be better placed on the front, but looks like it has been ditched all together.

Any ideal what comes included with the Pro. Is it going include the same cables etc as the mini? Wondering if should buy a coax cable or wait to see what’s included.

The “new cheap music streamer” video above goes thru what’s in the box. Re the remote control, I haven’t seen any further details on availability or cost. I hope I might be able to incorporate the control into my harmony hub as that would help automation/ switching inputs etc for me.

Bigger than I expected tbh, plus we’ve yet to see any of these reviewers produce a comprehensive review of what it (or the mini) can do across the board. For example, where’s the mention of the world-first ability to stream bit perfect from the Amazon music app all the way up to 24/192?

Maybe most reviewers are into and frankly care more about the Apple/Qobuz/Tidal/Roon ecosystems, with Amazon missteps heretofore having kept them from more than just taking note of Amazon's service? On paper, it's a good sign that Amazon seems to be getting a clue finally, and when I get a WiiM Pro, I intend to investigate it in depth. I'm particularly interested in if or to what extent it will enable integration into various existing home automation and lifestyle scenarios (without having to migrate to and get entangled in more of Amazon's spider web).

Wiim - will the website be revamped when the Pro is released?
i.e. will you take the opportunity to review and update the information there, some of which is out of date / incomplete, to better represent what your products can actually do?
I think it would be a shame not to, especially as you might expect the recent reviews by Darko, Cheap audio man etc. to increase traffic.

It’s funny expensive streamer just get stuck on warehouse with few buyer while wiim outsell them by big margin. Most buyer if not all want best value for the money.

Will it be possible to connect two devices to the WIIM Pro at the same time? For example, Could I connect my TV via toslink and my amp via coaxil? That way, if i turn on my tv, it would play through my stereo system? And then when i switch inputs on my amp, I could listen to Amazon Music?

Currently I use chromecast audio but I'm using the DAC on my McIntosh MA 5200 integrated amp. Wondering if i would hear much of an improvement by switching to the WIIM Pro?
