re: how soon it will ship - I think it depends on whether you are a Prime member and where it is shipping to. I think Amazon will give you an estimated arrival date after you make a purchase. I don't have details on when it will ship at the moment. Hope you get yours soon!

Hopefully honour them. There will be a good number of disappointed purchasers if they don’t - I know of at least one person in the uk who has ordered one, I’ll pass on any news they might post.

It's Fulfilled by Amazon, I guess amazon decides about delivery rules not Linkplay.

My Amazon WIIM Pro order was updated to a 20 December delivery date. Of course thats the day i leave for a 10 day vacation. My neighbor will pick up the package for me, but I wont be able to install them until after New Years. Rats!

No, but when it's available, there will be different SKUs for the Pro with a remote and Pro without a remote

I’d use your phone to play Youtube Music and Chromecast to the Pro (although you’d need Youtube Music Premium) and use the audible app and bluetooth from your phone. YouTube Music support is on the roadmap though.

I would like to use the WIIM Pro as a preamp/input selector. I would be using the wifi streaming, BT, Line-in, and SPDIF input. It looks like the only way to switch inputs is to go into a menu in the app? Will the remote allow direct input switching with the number buttons? Is it an IR remote? I would love to be able to control the Pro with my Logitech Harmony but I imagine I can't.

No, the Amazon Music HD FAQ says Chromecast of HD/UHD tracks isn’t supported from the Amazon Music app. As above, AlexaCast does though.

I have a question: since the Pro has a build in Chromecast, I assume it will be able to group with other Chromecasts, right? Specifically, my Chromecast audio.
