Unfortunately, with the screen set to Off, adjusting the volume turns the screen on, volume dial and album art, for 20 secs even though the volume dial is only shown for 3 secs.

😒

I have mine set with an Analog Clock as the "Standby Screen Wallpaper", and also set to "Turn Off Screen in Standby Mode".

This update seems to have fixed the bug where the usually off standby screen was displayed for the "Standby Mode" duration time set, after the top panel proximity sensor is triggered.

Now, all that happens is the top panel controls illuminate for approximately 5 seconds, so thanks for this undocumented bug fix.

However, this update seems to have introduced a different bug, which seems related to the following features, and also mentioned by @Mr Ee in post #3.

  1. Screen Enhancements:
    • Volume Feedback: The screen now wakes to show the volume bar when adjusting volume, even if the display was off.
    • Unexpected Screen Wake-up: Fixed unintended screen wake-ups in standby.

In my case, the screen is off in standby, so if I adjust the volume, the screen wakes up to show the volume bar, and this times out after approximately 5 seconds, but then I am left with my "Standby Screen Wallpaper", which is displayed for the "Standby Mode" duration time set.

Ideally, this standby screen should not be shown at all, just the volume change animation.
