wiim sub pro Is it possible to connect wiim sub pro to a third-party dac or preamplifier?

I wonder if I can use the wiim sub pro by connecting it to a preamplifier from another company. There is no volume control on the wiim sub pro, but has anyone tested how it works with other preamplifiers?
If connected via RCA, is it possible to individually set up the subwoofer in the Wiim app?

Yes, the WiiM Sub Pro can be used exactly in the way you described it with any 3rd party device offering a mono subwoofer output.

Personally, I haven't tested it with any other brand, but there's no difference to using it with any WiiM Amp or the WiiM Ultra without pairing the devices. As long as the WiiM Sub Pro is not paired to a WiiM device it has its own card (or tile) on the Devices tab in the WiiM Home App.
