LMS uses CD-play plugin.
Wiim plays via LMS.

You do need a CD drive with USB connection but otherwise only the CD Player plugin in LMS.

Lyrion (LMS) can do a lot of things and apart from its local library integration it also supports most online music services and virtually all Internet radio streams. The music services it doesn’t support are Apple and Amazon. No surprise as both are closed code with no APIs outside their ecosystems

Thanks for the reply. The reason I asked is under the Plug-In page, with CDPlayer, it says requires CDDA2WAV to be installed. That looked real confusing to me lol

I can’t remember how I installed it TBH but I don’t think it was difficult. These days I use a generic input into LMS that will play anything that I play on a particular HiFi system - Turntable, CD, Tuner etc

I frequently use DLNA to stream from Audirvana running on a desktop to Ultra. Audirvana manages a local music collection. Full quality up to 192kHz bit perfect.

FYI I just did a full rescan of my library, 320,000 tracks on a Synology Realtek quad core NAS, wired ethernet, with a Raspbery pi5 4GB, wired ethnet, picoreplayer, and it took 3.5 hours

Was that firmware version pushed out to you for testing, or is that an official release? I'm running 5.2.703434 build 20250103
