Wiim Ultra Radio Paradise problem

Hi all

I'm getting a problem with Radio Paradise and I'm wondering if anyone else is having or had this issue.

When playing RP ...only tried main and mellow streams .....it plays 5 songs then repeats those 5 songs. I'm logged in to RP ....tried wi-fi and hard wired network. If I reboot or go out of RP and back in streams fine until you realise it's repeating another 5 songs ....

If I use my RP app and cast to Wiim all's fine. It's was fine before latest update....I've logged a problem with Wiim via the app.

Wiim Ultra ...latest firmware and app.

So, I'm glad to see that the RP favourites do work, at least for some. I still hope that the developers have a better understanding of this topic than support has.

Yeah, I even offered them my RP login details for them to see the My Favourites Mix as it doesn’t appear if you’re not logged in ( logically) and haven’t hit the qualifying number of tracks. I got the impression they thought I was making it up…

Fine for me - been playing the mellow mix since I saw your post.

Try powering cycling your WiiM and if that doesn’t resolve it, submit a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your device logs.

Do you mean the original issue of the same 5 songs playing over and over again? I think I never had this exact problem myself.

Are you logged into a Radio Paradise account from the WiiM Home app or just using it anonymously? If you are logged in try to log out from the WHA and log in again.

I have. I think it came from setting RP as a preset after skipping and few tracks.
I have sent a DM to @nycjag outlining how to try to correct this.
I included the power cycle as @Burnside suggested, deleting the preset if set and to try playing directly from the RP app directly in the WHA
Also there is the option to download the app to the phone and googlecast from the phone or tablet.
Lastly, which seemed to work for myself and someone earlier in the thread, a factory reset I did explain that they should also take screenshots of their important settings before the factory reset.

This was a while ago, so I don't know if the behaviour has changed. My theory is that, If you set RP as a preset after skipping and few tracks, the Ultra then looks at the preset as a playlist rather than a radio channel.
