And here we go. For a couple of days not the integrated Radio Paradise music service shows up as "24-bit/44.1 kHz".
Unfortunately, that's not good news to me. Firstly, because Radio Paradise don't claim to be streaming 24 bit content. And they would, if they did. Bill Goldsmith is very much technically inclined and has shown massive interest in everything concerning sound quality. Where does this "24-bit" number come from?
Secondly, because from time to time a data rate is shown in addition to the bit depth and sample rate.
320 kbps is not what I'm expecting from a losslessly compressed FLAC stream at all (even less 319 kbps ).
The data rate display comes and goes, across all four officially supported mixes. I'm not on a beta programme for the WiiM Home App, nor on the Radio Paradise beta firmware (there currently is no such thing for the WiiM Amp Pro).
