Lately my Ultra just plain refuses to play certain tracks. Will pause and go to the next one. Retry 100 times over, same thing, will not play period. The song will play on my ipad with the Qobuz app but not through the Wiim. It used to do this once in a blue moon but now its a regular thing, Im ready to smash it with a hammer. Tried updates, deleting and reinstalling app, no difference other than now I lost all my previous search list😡

Well what issue would it be then? The same song will play on my iPad through the qobuz app but not on the wiim.

Qobuz Connect.
Does it work if you use Qobuz within the wiim app?

As I understand it, people with other streamer brands are having the same problems.

Yes, according to the information @Burnside posted here, this appears to be due to Qobuz migrating its servers to the cloud.

According to reports from other members, there are no issues when playing Qobuz via the WiiM app. I have confirmed that it works as well.

It does not work with Qobuz connect or through the Wiim app. If just played through qobuz app on my ipad it works fine on the ipad but not when used through wiim device either way. Normally I dont even use qobuz connect but just the wiiim app/player. Its almost like this thing is possessed and knows which songs I like and refuses to play them. 😂

Can you tell us some of the tracks which won't play, and I will try playing them via the WiiM Home App.

There are many but one in particular that it has played previously a while back and refuses now is:

The Alan Parsons Project
Eye in the Sky album
Track 7 Psychobabble
It will just pause and skip to next track no matter how many times I try

Does the same for me report it to qobuz as a missing track

I can confirm that it does the same for me on more than one WiiM Device, and that it will play from the Qobuz App.

I'm on the Free Plan, but I was able to play it on WHA.

Ok so Im not the only one with this issue I guess, as I said there are many other songs also lately that will not play. Thing is this has previously played for me in the past but now will not. But yet If it is indeed a missing track, why does it play off the qobuz app directly on my iPad?

What is the resolution of the track that wont play? The one played by @Wiimer is 16/44 only.

Is it the same on the iPad and via WHA?

Maybe the high resolution track is missing? On Tidal it is playing at 24/96

Personally I never noticed that Qobuz delivers different resolutions in an album. Heard that it could happen with Amazon Music. But if I am wrong, I'm here to learn.

The version that won't play for me is 24 bit 96.0 kHz.

The complete album from track one to track 10 is 24/96 in Qobuz. On every available streamer here and on the ipad it plays without any issue.

So, if the track that plays ok on the iPad is another resolution, then the reason is probably missing tracks with high resolution.
For some reason, I can't log in to my Qobuz account on my iPads, but the version that plays on the Qobuz app on my iPhone is 24 bit 96.0 kHz.
