Wiim Ultra subwoofer LFE question

I tried searching the forums but can't find a definitive answer so figured I asked her just be safe. I just upgraded from the Wiim Pro Plus to the Wiim Ultra. Mostly because of the subwoofer out. I used to have my BK XLS200 high level to my amplifier. Now I'm using low lefel to the mono (lfe) input on the subwoofer. Now my question is do I turn LFE on or off on the subwoofer? My guess is off but I'm getting some different results from room correction than I'm used to with the Pro Plus. Even in the calibration phase the subwoofer seems a lot louder than usual and I have the volume at like a quarter instead of half way like advised elsewhere.

Sorry for the rambling, just a bit confused :)

With the same sub I have LFE on (Filter out) and the low level input set to 50% (12 o'clock). Make sure you don't have the output level of the Ultra set to 100% fixed. You will need to use the Ultra volume instead of your amplifier volume knob to control level. If you use the amplifier volume knob the sub volume will not track the main speaker volume.

I did have the volume level fixed, so guess that's where my issue was! Does this mean I will always have to use the Wiim as the volume device (put my Exposure integrated to full volume then I guess?).

Yes. You can set the Exposure to full volume or just set it to the maximum volume you will ever need with the Ultra at 100% and leave it there.

Thank you very much I will put it at 12 o'clock that sounds very loud already with Wiim at 40% :)

Also with the Wiim crossover at 75hz do my speakers now no longer output sound under 75hz, do I have that correct?

Final question if I now adjust the volume on the Exposure instead of the Wiim, does it mess up the subwoofer and speaker level matching? So never touch the volume on the Exposure again, and if I do run room correction again?

If you change the volume on the Exposure you will need to run the room correction again.
Maybe it makes sense to set the sub to 50% then adjust the Exposure volume to get a decent balance between the sub and main speakers then leave the Exposure volume alone.

Awesome thank you. Yes I put the BK on 50% and same for Exposure. Thinking it's fine if the room correction does +2/3DB at 40hz and 60hz since the speakers don't output that low now?

You can also tweak the sub output in the WiiM sub settings screen if you want to make sure there are no boosts at bass frequencies. I have mine set to +5dB.
