I have a denon 4300 receiver & am using it in a 2.1 setup. I have the wiim connected using RCA cables from the WiiM Ultra's Line-Out to an analog input (e.g., CD, Aux, Media) on my denon AVR. My question is about my subwoofer which is a svs sb3000. Should the sub be connected to the wiim sub output or the denon sub output?
Thanks

It should be connected to the device you use to control your overall system volume. If you use the Denon to control the overall volume, connect the sub to that and set the ultra to 100% fixed output volume. If you fix the Denon's volume and use the ultra to control overall volume, connect the sub to that.

Thanks for the reply. I am finding the subwoofer connected to the denon doesn't output much volume compared to connecting to the wiim with music streaming. I am just wondering if anyone else has this same issue?

Yes, I noticed the output through the Wiim ultra was noticeably louder than what I was doing previously.

I am running that subwoofer too and I love how the Wiim ultra gave me significant overhead. I have the SVS app set at -10 volume and find that I have plenty to adjust with through the Wiim app.

Good to know that it's not just me noticing this. I can't play my svs at -10 though the sub is way too loud. I am test with my svs setting around -30. I must have something wrong with my setup.

The sub-out voltage on the Ultra is 2V, but I think the Denon is probably around 1V. So the sound from the sub connected to the Ultra will be louder.

Can this be fixed in any way? I also find my SVS pb 12/pluss 2 to be to loud when connected to my Marantz pre
