It's not whatya got, it's whatya do with it. It's also worth noting that the WiiM sub is not aimed primarily at wham bam movie track use. It's designed for listening to music.

We must be reading different reviews. It's usually the aspect of the WiiM experience that gets most praise.

Shellac for 78s. Acetate discs were used for testing, radio broadcasts, and creating masters. They're quite fragile and don't survive more than a few playings.

I can never understand pictures/videos that show decent speakers either side of a television, and a tiny soundbar underneath the tv.
