Hi everyone! 👋
I’ve been going through the instructions for my room correction software multiple times, but I feel like they assume you already have a solid understanding of room acoustics and how different settings interact. I’d really appreciate some guidance on how to think about these...
Was very happy when Wiim released the possibility to make individual L/R adjustments last year. At that point, saved presets could be assigned to stereo or Left OR Right channels.
Not sure when this changed, but now i cant do that anymore. Its either stereo, or left and right channels...
While the WiiM products already implement automated Room Correction based on in-room measurements, research in sound reproduction shows that this kind of correction is only efficient below the room transition frequency (usually below 400Hz), while at higher frequencies equalization based on...
This week, we're diving deep into Room Correction and how it can significantly enhance your audio experience with WiiM devices. We've gathered some common questions and suggestions from our community and will address them here. Read on if you’re ready to take your listening experience to the...
Hi, I've had a wiim amp for a while now and I'm happy with it, but:
1. I use tidal connect (I think this is the best way to stream music in the best possible quality). I control the music from my phone, but the TV screen remains black, and I would like to see the cover, title, etc. there. Too...
Hi,
Pleased to join this community with my Wimm Ultra ! And sorry for my poor english from France.
I’m looking for best practices and feedback about Qmax and Gain in the room correction feature in order to find the best prerequisites in using it.
By default it is 10 / 10. But it seems that...
Hello all,
New WiiM user here, but a long time audio enthusiast. :)
I've been testing the room correction feature in my Amp Pro and have noticed what I believe are several areas for improvement. Here's a list (though I assume many of these were already requested by other members):
Room...
I have a highly asymmetric room layout, so the separate left vs right room correction feature has been critical to getting great sound from my WiiM Ultra, but I’m missing the ability to use the subwoofer/bass management features because the left/right room correction currently won’t work with...
Hi All,
I know that every ear and room are different and that you must trust your ears, but since I have adventured in RC I have tried so many different settings that I kinda got lost in it and I keep wondering what the best settings are, if they exist. Here's what I'm using now:
Target curve...
Hello. New guy here. Dayton Audio iMM-6C question. When plugging it into my Google Pixel 6a running Android 14 I get no system message that it has been recognized nor do I see it in Wiim Home. Any way to confirm the external mic is being used by Wiim Home? (I did seek but could not find🤔)
I got my WiiM Ultra last week. So far very satisfied. I then ran the room correction and now with the iMM-6C the calibration works, except for the one-time error message "Oh, the contact has been lost..." Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot. Since then, the correction valuation has created...
I'm having problems with room correction saying my room is to loud during the calibration...my room is dead dead quite but I always get the message after calibrating..A sad face keeps coming up to say room is to noisy and retry..I keep retring but nothing happens..I have rebooted several...

I really enjoy the room correction on the WiiM Pro. My listening room is acoustically treated and it still makes a positive impact. I have my turntable phono pre amp going through the WiiM and I highly recommend it! Personally I like the Harman Target Curve, followed by the B&K.
I plugged a UMIK-1 mic into my iPad when doing room correction with my Pro Plus. I assume it worked, since I got a much different (and to my ears, better) equalization curve then when using the internal iPad mic. However, there is no way that I have found to apply the UMIK-1 calibration file...
I'm a simple audio person and have played around with PEQ settings and had it setup to what sounded good to me.
Along comes Room Correction and I gave it a try. The resulting curve is something that I would have never setup manually, but I have to say I really like the way it sounds. I was very...
