Noticed today that my Wiim Pro Plus now shows a toggle named "Roon Ready" in the Wiim app. But my Wiim Pro does not have that toggle.

I've never seen this toggle within the Wiim app before. I'm not aware of any difference between the Pro vs Pro Plus in terms of Roon readiness, so seems strange that the Plus would have a toggle for it in the app, but the Pro wouldn't.

Just curious..

It's an option added to new firmware updates. So the other WiiMs will get it over time. The Ultra got it also.

I guess that the available resources in the WiiM devices are close to being fully utilized and WiiM is preparing to let you select only the services you actually use, as not all will be able to run at the same time.

This feature was added about a month ago in WiiM Home App Version 3.3.11, and mentions that it requires the upcoming firmware update.

Haven’t WiiM said it’s to reduce network load?
