I'm not convinced by this argument. Look at the leading AI country, China... when was China last at war?

They have taken their chance because the only country which theoretically can stand them is in agony, they accept to be ruled by morons. What borders on stupidity? Mexico and Canada.

Sorry, but I can't understand your point.... China's investment in green technology, especially EVs, is decades ahead of the West. Arguing about competitive social systems, state capitalism vs. neo-capitalism is a side show. You and I may not like the non-democratic nature of China, but where would you likely be happier/healthier, in Shanghai or Dhaka? or even Mare Lago
