Album artwork not updating in wiim app

I have this problem with album artwork not showing when track changes (using external harddrive Toshiba canvio basic 2 tb). On first track it shows but next its not showing. Minimizing the app screen and opening it again restores the album artwork. This happens with embedded and .jpg artwork. This happens only in wiim app. The ultra screen shows the artwork as it should.
