Amp Ultra not entering standby after auto-stop

I tested it and got the same result—the warning sound goes off, it stops, and in that state it doesn’t go into standby, the screen just stays on. I wish it would switch to standby in that situation. I often forget and leave it on when I go out, so I hope this can be fixed in a future update.

Thanks for checking. Now that we know the cause of the issue, we've made one step forward.

Since you are using a Chromecast, simply stopping YouTube Music on your phone once before going out should solve the issue for now.

I will report back here if I hear back from the team on my ticket.

Thank you for this. I had been looking for the option to turn AutoPlay off and finally found it after reading your post. Mine was also on by default in the actual YTM app, but there doesn't appear to be the same option in the WHA API version. I assume turning it off in the main app is sufficient, but perhaps it needs to be done on all devices with YTM installed?
Unfortunately, as far as I have been able to ascertain, I have not been able to turn off autoplay when playing YouTube Music on WHA; the on/off toggle in the YTM app is not tied to an account. If you turn off the toggle, it will only be active for playback on that phone.

I recommend submitting a request ticket.

#Off topic, so I'll end this now.
