Amp Ultra vs Ultra/Vibelink?

I've been sick over the weekend so unfortunately didn't get as much time as I'd have liked to give the vibelink a solid run. However first impressions are very good. I've got it set up in my office paired with the ultra and feeding Dali Spektor 2 (no sub). Now these are by no means particularly bassy speakers, but the vibelink is getting some really nice, deep but punchy bass out of them. My two "go to" bass test tracks (Radiohead's "The Gloaming" and Massive Attack's "Angel") are sounding awesome. I was a bit worried I might miss the Yamaha as501 for this reason, but on first impressions that is not likely.
