Hello,

I just bought a WiiM Pro. I tried hooking it up last night using the rca output to an old Denon AVR receiver. I could not get it to work, could the output jacks be bad?

I then reverted to using the optical cable and was able to get it working with Spotify and Iheart.

I have the primary receiver in a kitchen pantry. My plan was to use a splitter so I could send the WiiM output signal to a 2nd receiver (stacked on the primary) to drive outdoor speakers when needed. Any issues with this?

Finally, I like streaming XM radio through my phone. I am using BT to the Denon but the range is limited. Can I stream XM to the Pro?

I have a Pro Plus into even an older Denon AVR. My Denon has no Digital in or Bluetooth so I am using the RCA jacks. It sounds great. You need to switch the Pro to Line Out to use the RCA out.

The optical splitter should work, but have never used one so I don’t know for sure.

For SiriusXM your can run the SiriusXM app on your phone and use Bluetooth the send the signal. But I would use Google Cast in the XM app instead. That way you don’t have to to switch the input on the Pro, it will automatically use Google Cast when it detects a device is casting to it. You could also use AirPlay if you have an iPhone. But I have found the XM app's support of AirPlay is poor. Another way is to add the SiriusXM app to Alexa and use the Pro's voice remote to select a station.
