Apple Airpods via Bluetooth?

I recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods 3 Pro and was wondering if they can be paired with the Wiim Ultra through Bluetooth. I typically have them paired with my iPad Pro and use the Qobuz Connect to listen. But, it would be nice to have access to the other music sources on the Wiim through the Airpods. When I go to the output section on the Wiim app and select “Pair” on Bluetooth it doesn’t show the Airpods as an available device.

This should be possible - at least it is with my first generation AirPods Pro.

With the AirPods back in their case, open the lid and activate pairing mode by holding down on the LED at the front for a few seconds until it starts to flash (I think... my first generation case has a physical button on the back, but I seem to recall this has been removed from later models and it's a hidden touch-sensitive part on the front of the case).

At this point your AirPods should appear in the WiiM device list. The good news is that they still remain paired to your Apple devices via iCloud in addition to a normal bluetooth connection to the WiiM

Has this continued to work for you. I can par my AirPods Pro 3 to my Ultra, but they disconnect from it just seconds later.
Could it be that you have your iPhone or iPad in close proximity? The iPods will reconnect to these devices frequently. I call it a preferred pairing. So turn off BT on your phone and see what happens.

I do. Let me try that. Thx!
