Shame these aren't available in Australia. That's why I asked about the availability of the WiiM Sound in Australia. Hopefully it will be released here as well.

People have been wanting to buy the WiiM edition Audio Pros in Europe since they came out and still can't. Why would these be any different?
To be honest, with the announcement of the WiiM Sound, I’m surprised they’ve added these to the WiiM Edition range - unless the Sound is going to be significantly more expensive which wouldn’t make sense to me either.

The A10/C10 badly need a DW update to add Presets changes and QC.

Looking forward to comparing WiiM Sound to A10. Hope for a wider ranging more open sound for an accent single point room speaker.

Oh, that's a bad start to my day. :) I was hoping to get one here in Australia.
I'll check with the team on available in Australia to see if there's a date or more details on when it'll be available there. It might be available at launch and I just didn't hear. Those details are still being worked on from what I understand.

Just having a quick look at the new WiiM Sound, and it has very similar dimensions to the A10 Mk.II. They're both clearly aimed at a near-identical market.

I wonder if WiiM have a WiiM-ed up version of the C10 Mk.II on the way.

I currently have a Sonos 5 under the TV in our kitchen. It's hardwired to the TV for better TV sound, and obviously can be used for music, too. The C10 appears to be very similar, perhaps just a tad smaller. I'd love to replace that Sonos with a WiiM.

Obviously, @RyanWithWiiM may not know anything, and is probably not allowed to say, even if he does.

;)

The WiiM version is already based on the Audio Pro C10 Mk.II.

Maybe I didn't get.the point?
I had the same thought initially, but upon just a little more thinking...
Audio Pro A10 Wiim Edition ---> Wiim Sound
Audio Pro C10 Mk Ii Wiim Edition ---> Wiim Sound's Big Brother.

i.e. will wiim release their own version of a bigger speaker?

The Audio Pro is made by a different company and just uses WiiM’s software.

The WiiM Sound is WiiM’s own speaker, and looks like their take on the A10. I just thought maybe they’d also do their own take on the C10.

Yeah, but there already is a "wiimed" version of the C10 MkII and a "non-wimmed" version, so I simply didn't get your wording. :)

The WiiM Sound is different enough from the A10 (whatever version) to deserve its own name. I can imagine further products (read: bigger speakers) quite well. But Wiiam wouldn't be WiiM if they didn't take it one step after.the other.

Sometimes social media doesn’t lend itself to more complex explanations, but thank heavens we’re not stuck here to the brevity of FaceBook.

So the A10 and C10 are non-WiiM products with WiiM software added.

The new WiiM Sound is very similar to the A10, but built by WiiM.

And I’m interested to see if WiiM build something similar to the C10.

It might have been clearer if posted in the WiiM Sound thread 🙂
