Auto-sense when switching from streaming to HDMI

I'm considering the Wiim Ultra. I would use it for Spotify Connect streaming and HDMI input from my TV, using auto-sense. What happens when I am streaming from Spotify and turn the TV on? Will it pause the streaming and switch to HDMI or will it only switch and continue the Spotify playlist?

As far as I'm aware, it won't switch to HDMI when you are streaming, but should do after you pause/stop streaming.

Now I don't use HDMI on the Ultra, but even while streaming, if I turn on the TV (or more accurately, turn on the FireTV connected to the TV), the WiiM Amp switches the input to HDMI. So Spotify will then stop playing .

It switches direct to TV and stops whatever you are streaming. Mine sometimes even switches to hdmi when TV isn't on. Probably because it receives some kind of signal from tv. Very annoying when you are in the middle of streaming a playlist!
