Qobuz Automatic playback does not work via Qobuz Connect

Strangely enough, AutoPlay works fine with Qobuz Connect from the Xiaomi 15 phone to the Xiaomi Pad mini. However, some albums still won't play even through the WiiM app. E.g., this one.


I plan to test it tomorrow with the Yamaha AVR. Unfortunately, it's already way past my bedtime...

For tomorrow I just tried the same playlist and album using connect to my Denon home 250 speaker and get the same result both stop playing
Which would point to a Qobuz connect issue

although this is a feature that I always have turned off, as I want playback to stop when an album has finished.

I like this feature because it has often helped me discover artists I had never heard of before.

Unfortunately, Yamaha still doesn't support Qobuz Connect. This is the moment when I truly appreciate having WiiM.

I meant what happens if you use Qobuz Connect from Android to Windows or vice versa? Does autoplay work in those instances?

It works from Windows to Android when I select my phone as the output device (which normally doesn't make sense, of course). However, I have noticed that my phone is only displayed in the Windows app when I have selected it as the audio output in the Qobuz app.

Vice versa, autoplay only works if I have selected the optical connection as the audio output in the Qobuz app (with Qobuz Connect via Ethernet, playback stops after the last track).

Does this mean that the Windows computer running the Qobuz app is connected to the WiiM device via an optical connection?
