Is there a way to get Ultra to show Now Playing info when listening to BBC Radio stations? Like would be seen on most DAB radios.

The BBC sounds plugin on Lyrion is an excellent way of doing this if you have or can be bothered setting such up on a pc or raspberry pi server.

Have now updated to latest firmware, but seeing no additional information when listening to BBC stations.

Same here. Using the "BBC Radio" music service in the app just shows the station name, as it always has. No metadata at all.

Hmm they specifically mentioned BBC in the announcement. Meanwhile Lyrion displays it perfectly

LMS is definitely the way. Been a user for many years, does everything I need, totally reliable, easily expandable and the Material skin is so classy and easy to use.
And the icing on the cake for me was Wiim adding squeezelite.

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. The reason we mentioned BBC is that some of their stations are supported, but we see now that this caused some confusion. We plan to revise this part in the release notes. We apologize for the misunderstanding and will keep working on improvements.

Yes, it’s a shame. Probably the one is supported is BBC Norfolk.

Yeah the BBC sounds plugin gives pretty much the full experience of live and on demand content. I use it every day, mostly for Radio4 Extra
