And you can even assign it to a preset on your remote

Oooh I haven't tried that yet... how do you do that then? I dont see an 'assign to preset' option on the WHA now playing screen when Squeezelite is playing.

The easiest way (to explain haha) is to

a) Go into LMS on your laptop (phone if you have to)

b) Go Server > Settings > Interface and switch to classic mode.

c) Find your station, right click the play button and choose "Copy Address" (or whatever it says on your browser of choice)

The link you've copied can then be added to the Wiim home app in Browse > Music Services > Open Network Stream. And from there assigned to a preset.

There will be a seperate URL for each player. It's a bit of a faff to be honest.

For example 6 Music on my Ultra looks like this

http://192.168.1.50:9000/plugins/bbcsounds/index.html?action=play&index=2.13&player=02%3A6b%3A22%3A7h%3Ac4%3A76&sess=

You can do this for other clickable play buttons too, such as dynamic playlists.

Thanks for the explanation. I tried that, and got the same structure of link URL as you show, but the option to 'test link' when setting up the WHA network stream reports it as unplayable for some reason. This happens with all station URLs I've tried.
I will revisit it when I have some time to troubleshoot.

It says it's unplayable here too, but it does play
