Calibration

Would it be possible for the wiim devices to calibrate levels, distance/phase?

Or add channel level adjustment/test tones like what avrs have. With correct type of noise for speaker and sub (can't remember if pink/white/white noise speakers and sub need different noise)

I understand there is microphone in the unit /remote so perhaps you place that at the listening position, then run calibration setup.

Don't expect umik 1 level of accuracy but sub integration might be improved. Readout for distances would be useful to verify phase, and give advice what your sub should be set to (if you have variable phase on the sub)

Variable phase in app could be handy as not everyone sub has variable.

to add to this, as well as speaker delay/phase alignment, would it also be possible that a subwoofer can be measured on the L/R outputs (via analogue and digital)

1) Test left speaker delay
2) Test right speaker delay
3) Switch subwoofer on, disconnect speaker cable to L/R speakers, perform subwoofer time alignment test
4) Offer information on screen what the ideal subwoofer phase setting on a subwoofer (with subs have their own phase)

Wiim Ultra digital out into a AV pre amp, L/R pre outs from AV preamp (in pure mode, full range signal to L/R) into a outlaw icbm-1, then onto power amp, and also out from icbm-1 into antimode 8033c then onto sub.
