Can´t start Spotify on Wiim Ultra from IOS app

I really don´t know when this problem occured. I have a Wiim Ultra with latest firmware and when I choose Spotify in the Wiim app on one of my IOS devices and then start Spotify app from Wiim app, Spotify starts playing on the IOS device. Wiim Ultra is not present in the list of players. I have made full restart both Wiim Ultra and my three ios devices. If I start Spotify on a Linux computer I can choose to play on Wiim Ultra without any problem.

Do you have chrome cast enabled on the Ultra? Try turning that off.

It did not make any difference turning cromecast off

When this happened some months ago, WiiM suggested factory resetting your WiiM device and not to enable chromecast when setting it up again. Before that, I’d try a power cycle of the WiiM and a router reboot, as well as ensure it local device only access is turned off in the Spotify app settings.

If all that fails, raise a ticket to Wiim via the more/feedback section in the WiiM app explaining the issue and the steps you’ve taken to try and resolve it.

Ok. Thanks. I will try a factory reset. I have done everything else.
I can start spotify with a linux computer and then use iphone changing music. I have also made a shortcut to a playlist on the remote and after spotify has started I can use the iphone.

I think I have found the problem. I digged up an old iphone 7 and everything worked on that one. The newer units is a part in Apple beta program, so that can be the problem. The firmware Ím using on those is 26.1 beta 4. I think it stopped working after 26.1 beta 1 , but I am not sure.

Strange. I am also in Beta and on 26.4. Everything with and in Spotify works here as it should.

It works ok with every ios unit I have tested except 26 beta. Official ios26 works ok

Correction, It don´t work with official IOS 26 with my Wiim Ultra. A workaround is not to toggle the marked switch in Spotify settings. The Ultra will show up indicating it is on another network.
