Can Tidal Maintain Connect Control?

When I use Tidal connect on my iPhone, then leave the Tidal app and return again it is no longer controlling the music. Rather the WIIM Home app is controlling the music. That wouldn't be so bad if the Home app maintained updated collections information. It doesn't. The collections in the Tidal section of the Home app are completely out of date. I find this situation annoying but my wife finds it unworkable. My tech cred is now being seriously questioned. Is there help available?

Are you logged in with the same Tidal user account in both apps?

I have no issues with the synchronization of the Tidal collection. It's working fine in both directions. The play control is also fine in both apps when they are restarted.
