@mdard What product do you have? It's hard to tell from what you've described.

In general, yes, you can connect a NAS with WiiMPro using SMB file sharing or with a DLNA app like Plex.

The WiiM Home app (WHA) supports SMB, DLNA/UPnP and Plex. SMB and DLNA/UPnP are LAN based protocols, and whilst Plex should work across networks I believe the current implementation is also restricted to the LAN. Could someone please confirm this?

Do you have a device on your LAN from which you could mount and share your cloud collection? Alternatively an app like Symfonium should work.

working well with Synolgy DSM 7, all connected with Ethernet for speed and reliability. UPnP and using Asett and Synology software on NAS and MConnect, JPLAY, Audirvana, and off course native in WiiM Home for music access on NAS (±6000 tracks) - works well

Where physically is your NAS? What make/model is it and what media software, if any, is it using? Where physically is your WiiM Pro?

You’ll need to supply more information as a phrase like “cloud NAS” is very vague
