Does the ultra’s usb out have bass management?

I have a couple of dacs that I was going to connect just for fun. Read somewhere that the usb output doesn’t have access to bass management controls. Thanks for any help.

Yes. Sorry, I presume you mean by ‘control’ and ‘separate DAC chip’ you’re talking about bass management, etc., in the DAC that’s IN the Ultra. By ‘separate DAC chip’ I presumed onlyoneme was referring to any external DAC.
