Hey all, I figured we'd go the extra step and put all the info on an official FAQ for energy consumption in standby. So here you go!
Yes only few have changed on design but twice the power consumption. Other solution on this plug a smart plug and only turn it on when you use it.Howcome the WiiM Amp Pro has twice the standby energy of the regular amp?

It's about 43 kWh per year. So it all adds up. If you have several devices that have similar standby consumption you wast money and especially uses unnecessary resources. My TP-Link Tapo P110 says that the Amp Pro draws 2 to 3 W in standby and around 11 W in operation (room volume level).
