EQ Distortion

I'm sure @WiiM Team is aware that EQ in the current firmware is causing gross distortion. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release. For now, I'd recommend leaving EQ off.

well yes..
it is the famous drc which had been clumsily also put on the eq off mode since 11/10.. but which has just been removed from this one..
but kept in eq mode on...
a way to try to circumvent the problems of management of equalization and digital clipping if you raise your levels (not down of course)
it will take a slightly smarter eq mode

Room acoustics and different types of music, and I guess personal preference. Works well even if some say it’s distorted - I can’t hear any distortion in normal listening, just on a few sample sound files that I wouldn’t routinely listen to.
